My 1st Death Knight

Now that I have the game, I kinda steered clear of making a death knight. But with the start at lvl 55 and the cool storyline, I decided to start one. It took me like 5 minutes to choose my race and I decided to choose a male Undead. So I start and I see the Lich King with that big yellow exclamation mark we're so fond of. I got my quest did and returned. The whole Archeus thing was easy, so i'll skip over those.

So I went to Ebon Hold. Talked to the horse guy, stole the horse, went to the spirit realm, pwned the guy and stole the horse (which had a cool control mechanism) and returned to the horse guy and got the spell. It was cool deal. The scarlet stuff is another story.

And the end last quest with the Lich king was boss. You have to attack Light's Hope Chapel. Plus you were invincible which made it epic. Then the Fordring guy came out and The Lich King came out, hey wrestle a bit, talked and eventually he charged Arthas and I guess he lost lol. The Fordring yelled some stuff and I got my sword. Then I had to kill Patchwerk and some abominations. Then I to go to Orgrimaar and beg for forgiveness or something.

Yep I'll talk about the Scarlet in depth later.

First quests

As I said I will cover the most important quests in the zones. So here's the first real quest you get. It's a chain quest where you get to see some of the WotLK Lore. You take the quest to get the herb bag in the sunken vessel. The questgiver then gives you a tornado looking thing. It will transport you to the spirit realm. You go in the house near the harpoons. The you see some ancient vykruls talking about killing a baby or something. After you turn that in, you go to So you go to the vykrul town Nifflevar. Use the tornado thing again and you can see some elite king guy giving a Braveheart type speech to conjure up some courage in the warriors.

So yeah you get to do stuff like that. I'll show you some more stuff tomorrow, if you're good.

WoTLK Walktrhogh- Chris Style

What's up guys?! I'm back after two week of not typing. I'm back with the scoop on the Howling Fjord. Yeah I got tones of screenshots lined up and possibly some footage of the game. So buckle up and put your goggles on.
Where do I go? Well when I logged in I saw Ralph for the first time in months. Still in his full epic gear (okay 3 peices). I wonderd about Shattrath looking for a guild. My guild kicked me out or mysteriously disbanded. So I hopped on my mount and rode of to the Stormwind portal. I mounted up and headed for Stormwind Harbor and waited for the steam ship to depart for Northrend. 
So I wait.......
Eat a sandwhich and wait......
Read a book and wait......
Take a nap AND WAIT!!!!!!
When will the damn ship leave?! So I headed over to Wowwiki.com and searched for an alternate route to Northrend. Turns out, I was supposed to go to Menethil Harbor to get there. So I'm off back to the Trade District to catch a Gryphon to Menthil. Even though I could have rode the tram to Ironforge. So what I did and I'm never going back to the Eastern Kingdoms or Kalimdor. So here's the ship.
Pretty cool huh?
The ride was long as hell but hey it was breathtaking.... For a game of course.
So I get to Valgarde and here I see this encampment that looks pretty decent. I take the quests and do it. My hunting skills were knd of off but by the time I finished that first quest I was better than ever.
Okay tommorow I will go over a number of quests in the Howling Fjord.

Getting stuff done

Guys this has been a trying 2 weeks for me. I got EOCTs in most of my classes (End of Course Tests) and 80s-90s in averages. I need 95 and above to meet my expectations. I gotta buckle down. Plus as you know this blog isn't getting much traffic. I need to find a way to get a flux of readers.

There's not much to talk about either, God Bless guys.

Trying it out

Ok I under estimated my machine. It still holds life!!! I downloaded the expansion and played it. It actually worked. I have get the hang of it first before I can start unveiling and bogging about the content. I'll keep you guy posted on it.
I was really surprised when I saw that it had downloaded. I guess it was saying,"it will work but if it screws up we can't help you." Kinda dirty on Blizzard's part but strangely I'm Ok with that. I'll try to play it. Although I'm having trouble with the whole Death Knight concept. But I'll get used to it. That rune stuff is no joke.

Welcome my microscopic readers! How goes? Anyways guess what I bought. The expansion. You're saying, "Ok, if your computer sucks, why did you buy it?" That may be true but hey I just wanted to seem legit about this blog.
I've been blogging for a whole week now and I've gotten farther than I thought I would. I haven't got tired of posting. My ads are coming along well and I'm exchanging links all over. Can't get any better for a beginner that's been on for a week, huh?
But anyway I tried to install the content but the requirements are real. They weren't joking, lolz. I'm not disappointed as I was at first so it didn't really phase. I'm about to do some homework so see ya tomorrow. God Bless.

Getting back started

Hey guys, today I've just started to reintroduce myself back to the game. I'm forcing myself to play. I really want to the expansion but I can't. I wish there was some way to play it. Right now I need to ask those of you who are reading to be a follower of this blog. I need to know who's reading so I can get a list of my readers. I will type this every time I post. I'm trying to get endorsed all over and usually when I really put effort and faith in my work, it usually gets done. But I need you guys. You're kind of like my life line in a since. When I get up and running (if God permits, January) I will have so much stuff that your heads will explode. I'm also starting a podcast soon. I might have it in The Instance format, no so much as the content or the layout but the hosts. Like while I'm here in Georgia and my co-host will be in Sri Lanka or something like that. So I'll keep you updated with that.

2.8 Million sold!!!! And I still don't have my copy

Blizzard has just announced that the WotLk has sold 2.8 million units in the 1st 24 hours, making it the best selling PC game of all-time. Before that it was Burning Crusade and after BC, one of the Sims games. Since it's been a week and some days since it was dropped, about 2 million more have bought it. Those are some really fancy numbers but where are the other 6 million that play?
I'm one of them and whoever maybe reading is one of them. Still the funds neccesary to get a computer right now are limited. I can only talk about so much until I get a computer. In the mean time, just meditate on those number. Think about how 2.8 million people look lol. Bye guys. God Bless.

Hey guys. How was your feast yesterday? Mine was cool. Today was really fun and heartbreaking at the same time. Me my sisters and my other cousins went to the mall, Target, Toys r' Us, and all over the place. And all over the expansion was looking me dead in the eye. It just sat there, with 39.99 price tag on it. I was with my 2 cousins and my little sister at Target, the game was right there, in all of it's glory.
I was tempted to steal it but hey I'm not that kind of guy. Besides, i can't run anyway. You know the situation. I hate being broke lol.
On top of all that we walk from the mall, through the whole subdivison just to get home. As I type this my other cousin and my sisters should be on their way back from McDonald's. I'm so tired and my leg hurts bad. See ya guys, God Bless.

What's up, my invisible readers! How are you guys? It's Thanksgiving and my family doesn't have a turkey. Not that we're poor or anything, just that my aunt forgot to put it in the oven. Sucks huh? I'll upload some pictures later.

Hello my non existing audience lol. If anyone is reading this, I have nothing to blog about. Since I don't have the game, I don't have stuff to write about. I just might have to blog about macs and tech stuff. I wish I could play it.
Yeah this blog might be barren for a while. But hey, there's hope. It could rain laptops tomorrow. I was listening to The Instance Podcast yesterday, and they said they had a ball playing the expansion. They always get me amped and excited to play the game. Randy and Scott, you too Patrick, I love you guys (no homo).

WotLK is so frickin' cool

Man, my bud has the expansion and he says it's really cool. He's on 73 already. I was so jealous. He had one of those Ferrari laptops, which was sexy, it ran so smooth.
I was just hankering to log into my account and pull out Ralphlauren (my 70 dwarf hunter). I'm thinking about switching realms but you know how that goes. I haven't played Ralph since about May, so he's kinda collecting a little dust. I was on a private server for a while, then I quit when they announced the date of the release for the expansion.
There was so much content to where I couldn't decide on what to do. I ran to Grizzly Hills for a while to see who these walrus characters were. They're pretty cool.
Dalaran was really cool too. I saw one dude there with that 3-person mammoths, which was 20,000 gold. I know I'll never get that one lol. I could hardly afford the regular mounts at lvl 4o.
The quests are awesome too. I really loved the way the quests were shaped. None of that "kill 20 bears and 30 spiders" nonsense. Really nice lore with the Death Knights too. The starting area for them is so cool.
So I urge those of that have G5 or higher processors. It's the best and imagine the content along with the patches. And believe me, the patches will not disappoint.

November 13th, 2008, the release of World of Warcarft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack. A momentous day for every Wow fan across America, but also a disappointing one to G4 machine owners and Windows 2000 users. Due to the sweet graphics and overly awesome gameplay, the tech requirements seemed to have gone up just a little bit.
I come from 2 generations of mac users my father's father wanted one, my father got one and I have one too. Now that's 30 years. The first macs to the G1 to the ones with Intel processors hanging out of them. My Mac is a G4 desktop, 1.25 GBs of ram, 75 GB of HD and Dual 1 GHz PPC G4 processor. Sounds sexy huh? Well not according to Blizzard.

In the previous expansion these were the specs:

G4 or G5 933MHz Processor

512MB RAM

32MB nVidia or ATi Video Card

Now running Burning Crusade was smooth as a silk cloth, no problems whatsoever (maybe the occasional maintenance but you know what I'm getting at). Now here's the Wotlk specs:

OS: Mac OS X 10.4.11 or newer

Processor:

- Minimum: PowerPC G5 1.6 GHz or Intel Core Duo processor

- Recommended: Intel 1.8GHz processor or better

Memory:

- Minimum: 1 GB RAM

- Recommended: 2 GB RAM

Video:

- Minimum: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 64 MB VRAM
Such as an ATI Radeon 9600 or NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4600 class card or better

- Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM
Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA 7600 class card or better

When I saw this list, my heart went to my pelvis. I couldn't believe it, alot of Wow mac users have G4s (just a guess lol), now we're all screwed. You're probably asking yourselves, "How is this guy gonna continue to blog about Wotlk if he doesn't even have the game?" Well to all you doubting Toms out there, I'm gonna get it and I'm gonna blog about it til' God tells me stop. Happy? I know you are and you're gonna stay happy, well until I get my new computer that is, I'm just gonna take a shortcut on the gameplay and quests.
